two inportant questions
1 - are all current MB E Class wagons ( AMG included) basically built on the same body shell? I am not referring to a sligthly wider fender or different ride heigths I am referring to the body panels and dimentions and inside room

2- my E350 has an E and an S mode The default is E mode The question is : is there a way ( Dealership or other) to keep the car on S mode at all times?

There is a place in Toronto, MBHouse that can program the car to stay in Sport instead of going back to Economy at every start, apparently they can't work remotely, so may be of no use in Houston, others have found success with this mod and others through a guy named Vladimir who programs a dogle that can contain one or more mods. If you search the threads on this you'll find quite a lot of info on this. I remember reading a thread about the different fenders and front clip on the AMG cars, I have no info on wether the rest of the body was modified as well.

Vlad told me it was not possible to make my 2016 E350 default to S mode. He helped with many other things so I don't know why he'd lie about that part.. just tossing that out there.

MBhouse list it as ECO MODE, remember last choice for fifty dollars, I apologize if I in any way indicated "Vlad could also do this.

That's a good deal.. too bad they aren't closer. I am surprised he would say "not possible" if it were $50 easy.
