FOB buttons mixed up
On my 2014 E550 that I owned for 4 years I found the trunk opened a couple times in my garage and a week later when I was getting ready to leave the key was not detected. I drive the car occasionally in the weekends since this one is the nice one and I have other vehicles to beat up. I replaced the battery and start button would not work. Removed the start button and engine turned on by turning the key.
I watched a video on YouTube how to “reset” the key by turning in the first position and hold the lock /unlock buttons.
car started after that using the Start button, only issue is now that to unlock the car I have to use the truck button and sometimes opens up all windows and starts the cooled driver seat. The lock button works and the unlock button does nothing. Touching the door handle works as well to lock/unlock.
Any suggestions on how to fix / reprogram my key back? Thanks!

Tried it, didn’t work. Just discovered the Panic button also unlocks the doors. Trunk can not be opened by key since it also unlocks the doors but waving the foot under bumper works. SMH
