Code p2201 and p229f

Hello have a 2015 e250 with the om651 101k km

my car was in a front end collision and had been repaired and picked up on Friday December 18.

in December 24 engine light comes on.

finally got a reader said p2201 and p229f permanent, can’t clear them.

it it a cuincidance or something could have effected them in the repair? Or collision

accident was early November, drove car 2 days after accident and then it was sitting in the repair shop for almost 2 months until parts arrived. Repair did not include any sensors other then front bumper sensors front camera and bumper and under bumper items. Basically everything before the front radiator. And repaired hood and fenders.

Hi, have you solved your issue in the end? Strange, as I have a similar situation and now I receive p229 error too. Have you replaced the NOx sensor?

Thank you for quick reply, you are in front of me by 2 days with events
I had a front collision too (someone hit it while my car was parked on my driveway), the car was brought to me last Tuesday on 22nd December and the error appeared on Saturday 26th December.

Waisted time at stealership, went in for diagnostic.
Before anything started he told me if it's a nox sensor it's 8hours of labour, I got agitated as 8 hours is crazy and told him to f*** off right there and then before I waisted 360 on permission to take another grand on labour only from me.

Going to an indie shop

Update, def delete, both sensors are bad $900
Unplug the modual in the back and recode it.

Saves me 1700 in parts only

They say it's no way from accident, they are too far back
