I have booked an appointment with the dealer for Monday, will see what they have to say, I’m not sure if it’s the sender unit problem or programming issue.

Is the conversion an aftermarket product or MB OE product ?
If it is aftermarket, dang it will be a nightmare to solve unless the seller knows the technical spec a 100%

I think this is an OEM part, but just to be sure how do I check it? And I’ve already purchased the car. Now I don’t know if it’s a good deal or not.

Well if you want to check it maybe at least via a scanner which can ID module A1 , which is instrument cluster and ask W213 owners what specification do they get on the scanner for A1 module ?
I believe you Instrument Cluster display belongs to a W213, if that is OE by MB

Hey guys,

A quick update on my issue. The issue has been fixed finally. So what I ended up with was changing my fuel tank. Apparently there was some sort of sensor attached to the fuel tank (not sure about this but this is what my dealer informed me). Ended up shelling about 3840 AED (~ 1045.50 USD) including import fee and delivery from Germany. Took me about 30-45 days to get it delivered to my country and 2 days to install it.

Although I have another issue brewing with my SRS Malfunction light, which is for another time. Honestly been waiting to drive the car for a loooong time, I am gonna enjoy it as much as I can till I send it back again to get the issue checked.

Do let me know if this was a cheaper purchase or was this an expensive one (All though I feel this was expensive for me)

Thanks @S-Prihadi and @pierrejoliat for your responses, appreciate the help here in the community.

Regards,

Chirag

I am dealing with this same issue. Only difference is dealer is charging me $1547.92 for parts and $3685.20 USD for labor.
