I had the same thing a few years ago, my wife parked by the athletic field house at the university she teaches at, one night I was out in the garage and a whole family of mice came out of the car and went out the garage door, I quickly found out they had taken up residence in my cars wiring, "07 S550, about 4k in damage. Which included the removal of the electrocuted little critters.
