HEY guys

I recently took out the mid muffler of my car, and in doing so it caused the car to sort of have a tractor sound in idle. It kind of sounds like theres a valve constantly closing and opening

please help!!

ps. I have the regular mufflers off as well. I want to put back the mid muffler and take out the resonators.

This probably belongs in the W211 subforum... but it either sounds like an exhaust leak due to the work you performed and/or a consequence of removing the the mid muffler (or resonator).

I think you answered your own question - put the mufflers back, remove resonators (if you must).

Yeah, mind as well just turn up the radio so you don't hear it. Good way to go deaf early.

Production or Model Year? Granted I was thinking US and 2010 MY. His profile does say US...
