Can anyone recommend coilovers for a 16 4matic that don't break the bank? I'm only finding onew for over 2.5k or the brands I know are all listed as being compatible with rwd only.
Sorry for a repeat question, couldn't find a good answer before posting.
If the coil-overs are less than $2k... don't bother, as the quality won't be there. Just get a quality lowering spring set and matching performance strut and shock. Besides, I haven't seen any options for coil-overs for 4matics... its asked every so often.

thanks for the response, guess ill go vogtland springs and bilstein struts and shocks. Not use to modding up benz suspension honestly so I appreciate the help, thought bc would have something around 1k but oh well
Can't go wrong with BC. I've got 15k on my set on my 2003 Maxima and no issues, still look new, and it's slammed. They're also local, in FL, so if any issues, they service and repair and their customer service is top notch.

The difference is the front... 4matic struts have a different attachment to the knuckle vs. 2wd models. The typical macpherson arrangement with the 2 lower bolts and 1 upper pinch is not the case for 4matics.

So I contacted a few different sellers for bilstein and can't find the correct set for my Vin, going to contact bilstein and see if they can provide details on what set is needed

Just gonna grab some shocks and struts after I find the right ones, have vogtland lowering springs coming in, also have my wheels and tires arriving in the next week along with gloss black wrap and a few other little parts, eventually will be getting some carbon fiber parts and interior trim parts as I don't like chrome, not a fan.

Got everything ordered and just waiting for it all to arrive at my parents house to do the work there, no room at my complex.
in theory
In theory wouldn't these work? I'm just curious as all hell now, theres tons of them for the rwd models with the standard 2 spaced bolts and pinch and tons of these also but why can't they fit the 4matic sedans if the mounting points are the same as the ones pictured?
Not asking to be a pain in the ***, just want to understand and gain more knowledge. I'm sure the whole issue is with the fronts,, I believe the rears shocks are the same for rwd and awd if im not mistaken.
