Unable to activate AUX in E class W212 APS 50

Can someone please help ?

I have recently replaced my old ntg 4.0 with APS 50 maps system with 10 inch android screen. Everything working fine apart from audio from android to main speakers which is not working. I can see the AUX is inactivate in the engineering mode and greyed out / disabled. Connections are all ok. Sound from radio and cd is working fine

Seems your topic is not a favorite. To troubleshoot where you got yourself... backtrack one step or more.

Reconnect as prior to see if the menu option becomes available. This should let you deduct what's greying the AUX option.... I am guessing the headunit or you new gear is not registered to car likings. Vediamo expert massage ...

The idiot step for good measure: use a scanner to reset DTC so modules get to reinitialise and pol for live peripherals).

If no joy... dive into a focussed keyword Search.

Does the new installation use the Media Interface connection? Using MI connection disables AUX. You can only use AUX without MI active.
