Viper drain panel not sitting properly

Hello everyone, so I was working on my cars windscreen nozzles, they were blocked so i uprooted the whole assembly(hose, panel, vipers) to individual work on the nozzles and un block them. That's a different debate however when putting everything back, the plastic panel in which the nozzles fix into. Does not sit back into place properly. There is a a holder that runs along the width of the windscreen right under it in which the wedge on the top side of the panel slides into, applying pressure to fix it in doesn't work, since that just bends the holder that is glued between what I believe is the windscreen and the cars frame. Since the holder is rubber it bends down and the panels wedge doesn't slide in. Which resulted it in being raised and not completely recessed as it was before. Using a screw driver and applying pressure correctly from underneath I was able to push the holder into the wedge from the ends but that only hardly a centimeter or 2. Any DIY that anyone could tell about?

Thanks.
