Water/meth experiences

First my car is a 2012 e550 coupe very low miles with downpipes tune and some air flow mods all weistec.

Has anyone installed the Water meth kit?

What experiences do you have?

I'm getting a lot of heat soak during these summer months and this is a weekend car but always want full power on tap.

Has anyone had any experience with the kits and have you had to install the bov kit for this to work?

What brand did you use and why WEISTEC, RENNTECH OR ANYONE ELSE

Suggestions please

Thank you

I have not, If the intercooler was external I would, these cars need it.

But I am afraid it would rust like it has on the M157's, and leak boost.

Cooling is definitely an issie with these cars. Atleast from what I can tell with mine. I feel like a 30% loss when its 85 plus outside.

I have used/installed meth/alcohol kits on many Buicks (the black ones I can tell you it's worth every penny as a primary protection device. It's secondary purpose to me is being able to push the boost up on pump gas without the need for race fuel. The last engine disassembly I did on a motor with meth/alcohol was insanely pristine. Piston tops looked factory new, intake was spotless and valves clean as can be....on a 175k stock block running 10's @ 27 psi. Detonation is the enemy, meth/alcohol kits are the solution...kinda. In either case it's nice to have the piece mind and extra "octane" on demand. Most if not all kits today are progressive and require tapping into the MAP sensor. I'm sure Merc has timing and boost control to abate detonation....they do have a tendency to overengineer things.
if you plan on upping boost then definitely consider it.. if not, let the ECU and motor just do its thing.

I have dealt with Razor for all my kits. Not sure if there's an option for Merc.
