E400 Help with wheels & Grille

Ok so I may be picking up this local gem 2016 E400 and I'm a previous C63 and E350 guy and wanted to know some info if I may.

1. Which size wheels 19" or 20" can I put on this car without lowering and no wheel gap? I was thinking 20" E63 wheels but may not look right without lowering and I have no clue how or what to lower this car with? Any help would be great!
2. Thinking I might replace the grille with more E63 look with the single cross bar rather than the 2 cross bar look. The car does have distronic plus for cruise so not sure what I can replace grille with.

Thoughts?

why do you want to run /25 or /30 series tires on a luxury street car? your ride will be like roller skates on a rough road.

Just looking to fill the fender gap and have just a pinch of a more sporty ride and look. Just looking for an OEM+ setup with 19" or 20" OEM wheels.

wait, bigger rims, you have to run lower profile tires, so the tire outer diameter should remain the same, like a 17" uses 245/45r17, a 18" is 245/40r18, 19" is 255/35r19, these are all about the same outer diameter. if you change the tire's outer diameter more than a tiny amount you mess with the suspension geometry, the car will drive awful unless you reengineer your suspension to suit.

Also, if you 'fill the gap' on the front end, the wheels won't turn without scraping and cutting rubber unless you make the suspension super stiff so there's no road compliance.

Something like this ride height but with OEM MB wheels. Nothing too crazy but yes maybe a little lower to offset the wheel/tire size.
