Alarm?

Every time I’m under the hood doing something this alarm goes off, so I press unlock and it stops or I put key in ignition it stops, as soon as I pull the key out it starts again or when I walk away after pressing unlock it starts again…..how to I keep this alarm off when I’m under the hood or just keep it off in general?

I believe you can turn off tow-away protection/tilt sensor in the settings
Hardware wise, do you see a switch with the tilt logo (a tow truck logo) in your car?

I don’t think so, would it be in the cluster on dash?

Tow button usually is in overhead console, next to SOS button.
Still none of my car would sound such alarm with door properly unlocked and I go under the hood quite often.
Might be good time to scan the car.

long story short my alarm used to still go off after unlocking and opening doors .. try whole car reboot!!

Disconnect battery power for 10mn (Main +AUX)

See if your computers are better behaved, doors, hood and trunk.
