UPDATE :
Today near 37,000KM odometer. So near 7,000KM the Bilstein B6 uses the MB original top mount.
I promised to show how will the circlip condition be, today I am replacing the bump stop, so me can then inspect the circlip ( C-ring ) up close.
With properly machined top mount recess for the circlip ( C-Clip) everything is perfect, unlike Lemforder piece-of-SHIEET top mount machined recess damaging damper's circlip ( C-clip ).
Damper top mount is 37,000KM old. Mix use, between SACHS OE, Bilstein B4 and now Bilstein B6.
I still have not bought a new Top Mount from SACHS, which I hope will be the same quality or machining accuracy as what SACHS sold to MB for my car.
Remember, we can not buy the top mount stand alone from MB, must be 1 set with damper + bump stop + dust boot and that Top Mount.
New bump stop and dust boot from Kayaba.... fits so well like original one.
END OF REPORT

I have a 2012 E350 rear wheel drive lowered on H&R spring with original shocks and it seems like the rear shocks need replacement soon. The ride had been fairly good using OEM shocks . Since, I am lowered, I was thinking on using B8's for the rear. What are your thoughts on B4/B6/B8 for my setup?
Already purchased 910141 KYB Dust Cover Kit , which includes the bump stop and dust cover earlier knowing that it will be needed.

B4 and B6 is the same dimension and stroke, but B6 is slightly firmer.
B8 is a shortened travel/stroke damper version of B6, when and if using lowered spring.
So, your use case would be B8, because you have lowered spring.
