Another wheel related question (R230 wheels)
Again, I apologize, but I am a complete newbie when it comes to Mercedes. I picked up a 2011 E350 for winter duties and 2 of the wheels are badly damaged. The tires are also shot, so the car has just been sitting. It has been a complete PITA finding wheels for this car. I just came across this set on the market place. The size looks close enough to be a direct fit, but I wanted to be sure. These came from a 2004 SL500. Thanks in advance!

what size and offset are they? you want 17 or 18" wheels, they must have 14mm bolt holes and 14mm radius spherical heads (older mercedes used 12mm, but I think a 2004 is recent enough to be 14mm)

Have the seller send you pictures of imprints inside, showing wheel manufacturer and sizes.
S class most of the time has quite different offset, that is why those wheels sell much cheaper than E class wheels.
On my E250 Bluetec I can fit 16" wheels, but members having those cars with bigger engines report bigger rotors as well, so 16" might not fit.
Still worth checking as 16" would be better wheel for snow.
I actually have a set of W211 16" wheels for sale, in case that would work for you

Original offset is 48, so the wheels will stick out 13 mm out.
I have my W212 on old monoblocks with 36 offset and actually like the looks, but if you load you car heavy, you might be close to fender rubbing.
Where is manufacturer logo?
Those are the wheels I have never seen before, so I wonder if they are really OE.
You still will need custom bolts to fit the radius
