The 1st picture with coin shows thread depth above Lincoln eyes, so the honesty issue gets deeper and deeper.

I can only wonder, with such big dishonesty about the tires, what potential buyer can expect from the wheels.
Showing them with layer of dirt sure is not good indicator.
But sounds like Senecat might be a sucker?

I, and the other 3 people who sent me DM's saying how stupid you are, literally think you're funny and how much of a troll you are.

If you're jealous of the wheels and can't afford the $1500 price tag please DM me and i'll be happy to work out a deal for your budget. I'm not stingy, and am willing to put the price down to 300 dollars and a happy meal from McDonalds. that is if you can afford that. Let me know couch potato

Taken today, for katjek. Brand new, never used. Looks just like OP's penny. What is your deal? Or do you really live under a bridge? Do trolls have last names? I'm just asking! Lol

Penny might be the same, but on your tire it goes about 2mm farther into thread than on what OP posted on the 1st take.
Sorry if you can't see and that is why people who know something about tire, use gauge with scale.
What was obvious for me was this picture OP posted. The wear marks suppose to be 2 mm.
On this tire the thread above the wear mark is not much higher than another 2mm.
I check Conti site and their new tires have 8 mm thread, what is lower than 10 mm I see on touring tires and that was the only wrong assumption I made.

That's really a great deal. Worth it alone just for the rims never mind including the tires. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of the black nor the 19" rims otherwise I'd consider it.

Anyway, in the future, maybe just a $3-10 investment in a tread depth gauge might have avoided all this but it was kinda obvious from the beginning that it had full tread just from the pictures. I don't know why people still use a penny to show the tread depth. A real tread depth gauge don't wear out and I've still got the one I bought 10+ years ago.

i just recently moved houses and at least with me, I either toss everything away or lose it when moving. I had a bunch of car stuff and don’t know where any of it is. But I had the penny and MOST people know what the penny trick says about the depth of the tire (obviously not the Ukrainian dude above). Even in Bosnia we know what it is and they don’t even have Pennie’s.

but yes, it’s a great deal but I don’t like the black on black. The argument and back and forth on this thread was for pure entertainment and I included it for free for you guys! 😂

Well I just throw my car stuff in a bin so I can find them. The penny trick is like an old myth that won't go away. In a pinch yes, but if you're selling tires, it's important to mention the real tread depth which a penny doesn't give you.

Anyway, free entertainment has been fun so far. You should probably post this in the for sale section and the W212 AMG section, probably get more response in there, but less entertainment. But maybe after you get a tread depth gauge, pretty much any auto parts store should have them. Other people offer less and ask for more.
