Late mode waterfall Grill on E 350

I happened to be checking out Manheim auctions for an ecab and noticed that this '13 was running thru their Anaheim location. What caught my attention was that someone had done a grill swap to give the car a more updated look. Me likey.

I'm in Florida, so I cant justify buying it just because of the updated grill and then pay to truck it across the country. Has anyone see a mod like this before? I'm personally hoping its a kit that can be bolted in by just pulling off the bumper.

Or do you think it was a one off done by someone with a bit of ingenuity?

Not a one off, and not much ingenuity involved.

FWIW, there are dozens and dozens of various aftermarket replacement grill kits on the market. Many of these grill kits are an easy and quick swap compared to more involved facelifts.

A quick search of eBay will give you lots examples with prices ranging from $80 to $250.

2014 E550-sold 😩
Not all grill swaps are simple on an MB. Do your homework on your specific model before jumping in.

True that, I double checked the auction listing and I fat fingered my post. It's a '13. Edited the OP for "clarity".

I have seen an AMG grill in that pattern for AMG facelift W212 models but not I can't remember seeing same grill as yours for prefacelift models . It looks cool .I had mine swapped before but it was 3 grill slats vs 4 grill slats and was an easy job . Mine was pre facelift model
