Eclass 250cdi cabriolet 2011
Alloys

Hi folks newbie here
I currently have a 2011 E250 cdi cabriolet, current alloy set up is front 235/45/17 and rear 255/40/17 offset E45 and E49
I am looking for a change, I've seen 2 sets that I am interested in
Front 225/45/18 Rear 245/40/18 that came off a Cclass w205 offset E44 and E49

next set are Front 245/40/19 and rear 275/35/19 that came off an Eclass

Both geniune Mercedes Alloys

Will both fit OK and are there any pros and cons by either larger or thinner

Black and silver are the w205 alloys

Just get aftermarket wheels… you’ll end up paying through the nose for OEM wheels most of the time

Both sets are not badly priced, just wanted to know the answers to my post to decide what ones to get.

Original rims:
A - Front 235/45/17 and rear 255/40/17

Replacement rims:
B - Front 225/45/18 Rear 245/40/18
C - Front 245/40/19 and rear 275/35/19

When you compare A, B, C width and diameters differences standout.

B > I would not downsize the width and expect any better handling, quite the opposite.

C > Are you positive the 19" tall tires can fit in your wheel well??

How about a big-brake kit to fill in your bigger rims?

2014 E550-sold 😩
Make sure the tires comply with the XL loading 97Y requirement. C class does not have the same loading spec
