Small shudder at low speeds (2013 E550)
Hello, 2013 E550 4Matic here
I have noticed a small vibration when accelerating slowly, and some vibration under load / acceleration on the highway. It's not much, but enough to stand out in the otherwise great ride. Transmissions shifts great, and only happens when accelerating from 1800-3000 rpm, regardless of speed, which makes me believe its driveline related. The steering wheel doesn't react along with it, making me doubt wheel balance. It's mostly felt in the seat / floor.
I'm going to get it checked out if I can't figure it out myself. I have about 110k on it now, just picked it up. Could it be flex disks, driveshaft, axels? Before I go to a shop I'd like to hear anyone else's experience that has had this!

1800 to 3000 Rpm
> You are saying it is driveline related because it's linked to RPM and NOT speed.
> I believe drivelines are more speed related and not really RPM, right?
So I'd concentrate on scheduled engine maintenance including all 3 mounts with tranny on the center stage.
The forum has many knowledgeable 4Matic owners, which I am neither.

STOP accelerating hard right now!!! Check you axle boots, and engine mounts. If you have no CEL, you more than likely broke an axle. Inspect both of them, and the trans mount one as well.

As mentioned could be a number of things, even a driveshalf ujoint going bad.
You'll need to have it inspected. But just take it to someone familiar with these as it can often be misdiagnosed. you can't really confirm it's a j-joint until you remove the driveshalf.
