Hi sir's/ma'am,
i lost my spare key and need a replacement. If ever i order a new ones can i program it manually like the ones i read on google (insert key press unlock key 5 times etc etc....)? Did anyone try this and did it work? Btw its a 2012 benz e350. Thank you and more power to the group.

I'm also missing one key, and was looking up how to get replacement keys recently.

Easiest way would be to go to the dealer which is quick, but very expensive. There are 3rd party tools (Autel IM608) that can program replacement keys, you just have to find a shop in your area that can do that.

that push blah 5 times etc is very car manufacturer (and generation) specific. afaik, Mercedes keyfobs are mated to the car by Mercedes, and have to be ordered by VIN, although there are some 3rd parties who can do it, too.

Mercedes basically requires you to go to the dealer and they can order the key for you. They're not cheap though, anywhere from $300-$500 depending on whether it's a regular key or keyless go. You may find some dealers that are cheaper, call around and get the closest dealer to price match otherwise you take a long trip if the savings are worth it. You should go to parts because the service advisers will throw on an extra hour in labor for programming which just involves putting the key in the ignition and turning it. They can also delete the old key from the car in case it was lost and you don't want someone else using it in case it was found as part of the programming. You should buy a Tile or an Airtag for your keys, that's much cheaper than a new key.
