Fault code listed. Will not clear out.
Replaced Pass front sensor, no change. Both sensors old new had same ohm reading as well. Connector is good and undamaged. Had car for 5 years now with no problems, no accidents. I think I have an open circuit from airbag control unit. Any insights before I pull center console for airbag connector access? I’ve been a professional technician for 20 years now. Not for Mercedes however.

A pack rat ate through a wiring harness in the engine bay of a coworker’s Toyota once which resulted in an airbag fault (and $1500 repair bill at the dealer). I’d check all your wires under the hood that could be damaged by a critter. Some animal ate through an injector harness on my car once too.

I would verify circuit continuity and then try disconnecting the main battery for 10 minutes, reconnecting and trying to clear the code. What's the VIN, we can help pull the circuit diagram.
