I was wondering if i could swap a 4.6l bi turbo from a 2012 e550 to a 2010 e550 with 5.5l N/A. Also is the wiring harness the same.

pretty sure those are /completely/ different engines, the 4.6 is going to be M278 with multishot direct injection, multispark, while the 5.5 is the older E273 that had conventional port injection. Totally different engine management and everything else, and it all has to be coded and integrated into the rest of the chassis systems

This isn’t 1972. You will be so far behind on a swap from just buying an E550 that it makes zero sense.

And why ruin one of the best and most reliable E-class they ever built. Put a Sprint Booster in it and set it to the most aggressive setting and you will have power you can barely handle. This car is a beast. I have one.

If the OP wants more power SP is an easy way to go. People say SP does not give more power but in my car it smokes the wheels way easier than without it no matter how I press the gas pedal so I think it does something more than just makes the butterfly open faster.
