Scan tool reads left front axel???
My abs, traction lights , abs esc inoperable lights up my dash, my friend mechanic for Lexus so I hooked it up to his scan tool and it read left front axel. If it was abs speed sensor I believe it would say it on the dash. Any ideas what it could be?

that is a good enough DTC already. Dashboard usually does not tell u 1 specific item, unless those are headlight or brake light thingy, where the bulb in question can be informed on dash

His scanner , yes... it can read the actual DTC issued by the car's related computer/s.
Your friend doing Lexus surely have a decent to high-end scanner and that would include surely Mercedes Benz special diagnostic capability.... just like my middle-level Autel MS906BT.
