Hello Everyone my 2011 w212 had check engine light 2 days ago. I ran the icarsoft and two codes came in: code 0521: the charge movement flap(cylinder bank 1) has a malfunction. Code 1089: a very fine leak in the evaporative emission control system was detected. How do i get this fixed? the car seems to run fine. How much will it cost to have it fixed by independent mechanic? I just had 150k service done 1 month ago. Fuel filter was replaced. mechanic did not find anything else wrong that day......

 

I may be wrong. 0521 tells that the intake manifold has a problem. There are many videos and articles to let you know how the manifold works and how common of this problem. I have this code too and am planning a replacement project. Good luck to you and me.
