Type of front wheel bearing

Good morning

A friend of mine had his W212 220cdi fail inspection because of 'front wheel play', so I offered to help out.

My question - are all 212 models the same front axle? Are the bearings taper or one piece? A bit confused as I see both types listed around the various sites...

2014 - W212.065 - E400 ( M276.820, 3 liter Turbo) RWD not Hybrid

Thanks very much to both of you. I should have said that the car is RWD and not 4matic.

I have the car here tomorrow, so I am guessing/hoping that the tapers will just need simple adjustment and maybe repacking with grease.
