Audio system help
Hi everyone, I'm new to the Mercedes world so sorry if this is a stupid question. I have had a search around but couldn't find anything.
The 2011 e220 I've just bought seems to have a bit of a low spec audio system. It's got FM radio and built in Navigation and a media port of some description I'm the centre box. Bluetooth only for phone calls.
So no AUX input or Bluetooth audio streaming.
what is the name of this system I've got, I've seen terms like Audio20, comand , nter used in my Google search but don't know what's what really.
Can what I have be upgraded/updated to have some better features?
I've had a look at YouTube videos to switch Bluetooth streaming on but the display on the videos doesn't match what mine is.
I've attached some pictures
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Rob

upgrade forward: A-A
The system you have is a version of what MB calls "COMAND". It is proprietary and has no update track: it is what it is.
In some cases you can buy "Map updates" but essentially it is impossible to replace this unit with a newer model.
The best thing you can do is add a Plug-n-Play kit with "Android-Auto"!
This will greatly expend your stock system with modern standards.

Android... 😍
As much as I like Unix, Linux and Android, I know they are only as good as who built the system that run the device. I am a first hour Android power user who loves targeting system bottlenecks using root tools.
I have other priorities with my goofy Benz systems that cause me to shy away from new variables distractions.
Perhaps you could do a quick Pro/Cons review before picking your favorite kit ?
