Hidden compartment

I seen on a W211 there a button on the radio under the triangle hazards button that he pushed it and that radio flipped open and there was a whole nice size hidden compartment….. do the W212 have this?

Not that I am aware of... you can very easily remove the exterior light dial (left of the steering wheel), and this is a good place to store things you don't want people seeing, with easy access.
Here's a video

dashboard...

if you don't want to mess with your headlights selector, you open the footwell cover or go from the dash side through the plastic side pannel.

These locations must be universally known by now

While we're there:
How is your steering convenience entry doing?

Above your feet and under the dash: 3x T20 screws.
That's where you find the cabin filter on passenger side!

Oh yes I’m actually in the process of changing out my resistor because I have no AC or heat, the blower turns on once in a while, now that it’s summer I’m dying in that car, to damn hot

There is a small space beneath the cancer-stick ashtray in the center console. There is a hole in the plastic floor there as well, showing the transmission tunnel below that. One would need to tape over this hole to use the space above to store keys, folded papers, etc. Reinstall ashtray over that.

I can't imagine stuffing anything in the dash behind the headlight switch, that is sure to rattle around.
