Reverse parking sensor

Whenever I shift my car into reverse, I get a beep and the reverse distance indicators show 4 red dots, 2 on each side. I have an icarsoft MB2 scanner that I used to pull fault codes for the Parktronic module. The fault code that I'm getting is 927B14, however the scanner doesn't recognize the code and I can't find any info online. Has anyone run into this code? Am gonna take it to a shop on Monday most likely...

Maybe yours have been wet and have shorted out? I have read a few times they are not very water proof.

Whenever I get that red light warning either in the front or rear it means a sensor is blocked with ice ( winter), or a sensor has gone bad ( summer). You probably have a failed sensor and need to isolate the rear sensor loom to find the bad one.

Different code, as suggested above check rear sensors/harness. See attachments.

First clean rear sensors with alcohol, then climb underneath and check wire connections,

Update!

I took it to a friend's shop and they were able to pull the code and get a proper description. Strange that the MB2 couldn't pick it up, even though in that youtube video it's using the same thing...

Anyways it's the center left sensor, I can see it, but unfortunately I'm unable to reach it as I believe the tow hitch or something is blocking access. Going to buy a replacement sensor then pull the bumper.

Glad to hear you've found the issue,

Woukd you be able to post some pics of pulling the rear bumper off if possible, they look like a nightmare to remove!!

Same here, nice to see you have found it , I think that must be the hardest part of the problems , fixing should be easier despite some glitches

Glad you found the bad sensor. You will need to paint it to match your body color. Nice job!

I will try! I ordered the sensor off ebay from a buyer in Lithuania, so it'll take a while to get to Canada. Will try to tackle it ASAP.
