My 2014 E250 crossed the 250,000 mile mark this week.
To recap, I purchased my E250 new, and has been the most trouble free commuter I've ever had. Of course, I've replaced a few tires and windshields, but nothing major. I didn't change my front rotors and pads until 200,000 miles, and still running the originals on the rear! I've done all my own maintenance since the car was out of warranty.
I've averaged 37.4mpg over the life of the vehicle (Fuelly), and still get above 40 on long trips. I got 42.2mpg on a recent drive.
Soon I'll be handing the E250 to my son as he gets his drivers permit next spring. I've got a E450 on order but something tells me that I'll miss this little diesel.
And let us know the maintenance you've seen that was unexpected or "undue" ...I don't doubt that others (like me) are racking up miles and hoping to for the long haul!

Any pictures of the interior? Wondering how it's holding up. Recently saw an ML400 in a shop with 228K and the interior looked almost perfect. It was there for a HPFP replacement.

Interior cosmetic wear and tear doesn’t depend on mileage, but years. It should be similar to all the other cars of that year model. Unless OP is a Taxi driver where there’s a lot of in and out of passengers, etc. Sounds like it just does long trips with driver in and out only.
Creaks or rattles from interior parts might be more though.
Nikobimmer wanted to know if you have the eco start/stop feature and if so do you leave it active? Just curious how that plays out reaching high mileage. In my mind it seems like something thats not conducive to longevity but experience speaks volumes.
