Gearbox slipping in 1st and 2nd

you need to visually inspect the system to see whats leaking. We can't guess what is wrong with your car with any accuracy.
one way to narrow down leaks is to wash the area, then add some fluorescent dye to the fluid in question, and drive a bit, and inspect in a dark garage with a UV light. Catch-22 here, its non trivial to add that dye to the transmission fluid.

From what he told me he wiped it all clean after he changed the orings, and after a test drive there was oil there again.

Sligth update again, I went by today and had a look by myself. The oil cooler is located at the bottom of the engine bay, in front of the engine, clearly accessible. It had A099 500 23 00 clearly visible on top, which is the same as the one in the picture. Two of the fittings was from the gearbox and the other two was for coolant.
I could not figure out how the gearbox ones attach by the look of it, but i could feel some slight oil around one of the fittings. I would guess its either a hairline crack on the fitting, or a poorly fitting gasket. Can't really be much else that can be broken around that area.
I'll try to call Mercedes today and see if they have the correct size for the orings, and cross check it with what the mechanic fitted.

Thank you for the information!
The picture clears some things up, the o-rings you've marked at 265 are the ones Mercedes sold me, I remember the specs. She told me the o-rings wasn't available separately (???) but she found the other "from another diagram" and thought those would fit, which they did not. The mechanic told me it was something like 16mm O-rings.
Looking at the diagram the lines on my car are the dark ones, as they connect from the top. Seems weird that the o-rings are not sold separately?

Been googling some on the parts numbers. On this ebay ad there are some close up of the pipe fittings. But I can't wrap my head around how it's attached and where the oring goes, or where there could be a possible leak for that matter. Seems like the fitting are screwed on what I supposed are threads in the inside of the fitting? Can't really see where the oring are supposed to be.

Maybe, I can't really tell from the picture but the mechanic told it was about 16mm diameter.
However some update on the problem again: the mechanic replaced the oil cooler, and lo and behold it stopped leaking! Picked up my car today, and finally the problem seemed to be solved.
...or so I thought, until i later on read the recipe:
The mechanic has specified 4 litres or 236.17 oil on the recipe. The specifications I got from from Mercedes states to use 236.15 oil in the 7G+ gearbox! Or are there no problem to use the 'better' 236.17 oil instead of the 'old' 236.15?

I also looked at the speced manufacturers website where they clearly states
"However, this high quality product with MPM Mercedes-Benz 236.17 specification can absolutely not be used for automatic gearboxes where earlier specifications such as MB 236.10, 236.12, 236.14 and / or MB 236.15 are prescribed"
So it seems like I will have to give the shop a call monday morning. Seems like the headache goes on..

Thank you! Can't find any two oils that are the same on the 236.15 and 236.17 specs, so it seems that they are not interchangeable.

Forgot to update. I talked to the shop and the mechanic still insisted that there was no problem using the "better" oil, but they took it in for an oil change anyway.
Looking at the new recipe it was finally an oil approved of MB, however it specified only 4 L which is weird since the gearbox takes 8 L.. And no mention of new one time use tray bolts..
And I can't even know for sure if they actually have changed the oil or not, and since it's been low on oil earler on it feels like a ticking time bomb right now.
Anyone here have any input of what kind of damage, if any, running low on oil does to these gearboxes? The first recipe specified a top up of 2-3 L, not sure if that included the spill from the incorrect level check or not.
