2013 E-350 auxiliary battery location in engine compartment
Hello everyone, I’m trying to locate my auxiliary battery in the suggested places, I think it’s in the engine compartment but not positive if what I’m looking at is it. I took two pictures to post on here and if anyone can verify that it is the auxiliary battery I would appreciate it very much. this part is not a battery. It is a load center that dispatches power to other fuse distributions and heavy duty electric consumers.
Read the section about charging battery in the owners manual. It will help you understand the use of the RED PLASTIC protecting slider on top of what's called PreFuse box.
Beware that many exposed parts of the preFuse are always live from the battery (+).

Thank you very much for the quick reply! My auxiliary is not located in the wheel well area in the trunk either. I don’t trust myself taking apart the dash to find it there, so I guess it’s off to the repair shop I go and spend $$$ for the repair. I really enjoy my E class, it’s the best road trip car I have ever owned.

2013 E350 the auxiliary battery is in the drivers side dash, behind the triangular panel, it looks like a home security system battery.
Check videos for how-to's it's pretty easy once you see were the panel clips are.
