Hey Guys,

I have been ripping my hair out with this bloody AMI port in the centre console!

I have installed a new 10" Android touchscreen unit and i cannot get any sound into the NTG via the AMI port in the centre console!

I have checked that Aux is enabled in System and in the Engineering Mode.

Benzninja also enabled the Aux when he was making some changes to the coding of the car a wile ago.

I have plugged a headset into the Audio out port on the Android unit and its 100% putting out sound,

I have replaced the AMI port adaptor cable and still no sound.

I'm on the verge of ripping it out and pissing away almost a grand so I can put the car back together and drive it again.

My NTG is a Japanese version but the menus all look the same and are in English

Is there any diagrams of the back of these NTGs that show where the AMI port connects to the rear of the NTG?

Has anyone else ever struck this issue?

Hello mate, I know this is an old thread but did you ever work this out?

I’m about to try and do the same thing on a Japanese A180 W176 with NTG 4.5.

I’m a bit worried I’ll run into issues seeing as it’s an import.
