One of those bad luck I guess.

See this rubber edge gasket of CLS63 headlight, kinda "melted" :

Rubbers/polymers aging on its own. The LEFT side is apparently okey, I wonder why.
This gasket is for between the headlight and the hood when closes. Wind and water protection I guess.

I have seen my car interior wiring foam turn to dust as early as car age 7th to 8th year.

My ABS wheel sensors cable rubber clamp guide ( I do not know the real name ) , broke off due to aging.

It's gotta be the master cylinder right? I can't see any leak under the hood either, Thanks in advance for your comments,
Just have that problem with unknow leak of one or two drop and low reservior. Then big puddle at few weeks later. Check steel rear brake lines that are notorious for rusting out -- Also the rear subframe. One section replaced at indy with NiCop lines on Right and Left $460. 3 hours labor and $55 material. I would estimate local dealer woud be $1500 to $2000 and using steel line. The NiCop are much better. DOT 4 plus fluid should be used.
The subframe are under unlimited recall/warranty.

Yes thanks, I put new copper nickel brake lines from the rear to the ABS two years ago on the "13. it was leaking from the front left wheel well liner, this last summer I did the same on my '12, that was leaking by the right rear. The '12 has never seen snow otr salt and has 34k miles now, My '13 has 102k and is driven year round since new in the Great Lakes snow belt, both my sub-frames are fine, My brother owns a Mercedes dealership in the next city over so I get great warranty work, I had an extended warranty on the '13 until 90k miles, so a lot got replaced

The brake line was under warranty until 90K miles? May 2012 had 73k miles.
My old 84 300D brake line was orginal in 2007 and then sold. It was a 10 year MA car that was rusted out in many panels but brake line still good.

No, the car was under warranty until then, the brake line started leaking at 96k miles, Yes, my previous 9 Benz's had copper nickel brake lines, never had any brake line issues despite owning some for 16 years
