Help finding a part!

Hi, I have an e350 4matic that was rear ended. The repair company is having a hard time getting a part. The part number is 000905740564 and it’s a rear blind spot monitor for the rear bumper, right side ai believe. I don’t have park assist. It’s been in the shop for at least two weeks just sitting there cause they can’t get the part. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Used or new is fine, just something that works to get it back on the road.

Thank you,
Curtis

000905740564 replaces 0009052504 but MB discontinued 0564. Shop 0009057405 and/or 0009052504 used.

back on the road ASAP: how

Curtis, to have you "back on the road" and save time you can simply disconnect the non-functioning blind-spot radar until your replacement shows up.

What you do not want is have defective unit remaining connected to the car. Leave it there ok, but unplugged.

That’s what he suggested for now. You have to remove the bumper to replace it though right? If insurance would cover it, that would work.
Thanks!

You don't need to remove the bumper to replace these units. 10mn, easy does it.

You can try AutohausAZ and Mercedesbenzstarparts.com. Autohaus is really good at finding these kinds of parts,
