W212 engine swap

Hello i own a w212 with the om651 engine and im looking to swap it for a om606 i just wonder if someone has done that before or if someone have any ideas on what problems can be encounterd

The OM606 is the 6 cyl 3.0L used in the mid 90s to early 2000s on W124, W210 cars? That actually has significantly LESS power and a lot worse mileage than the 2.0L 4 cyl OM651

the ECM for the engines in the W212 also manages the 7G+ tronic transmissions, while on at least W124, the 4 speed automatic transmissons were entirely hydraulic and did not take any significant inputs from engine management. W212 cars contain multiple interrelated computer networks to manage everything from battery charging to the air conditioning and heating system... remove the W212's engine management from that, and its all going to fall apart, the body SAM certainly will be unhappy.
