Will be swapping my om642 engine to M276
Hi I have a two 2013 E350 one has a blown diesel engine and the other cars total loss from rear hit. That one has a good M276 engine and I'll like to swap it into the other one. Since I have a donor car can this be done since there the same chases?

Imho much easier to get a reman and throw in. The om642 has been around for a decent long time. Heck even find a running om642 out of something else and drop it in. Sell the good 276 and other salvagable parts would i guess more then pay for it.

You'd need to change a lot of the wiring and fuel tank, overall not worth the hassle unless you want a big project on your hands.
