Air ride compressor shutting off.
I have a 2011 e550. I recently started getting the malfunction with the arrow up on my dash. I looked at all components and the compressor will start when I start the car and shut off after 5 seconds then the malfunction comes on. There are a lot of threads about the air ride but I can’t find anything about this issue. Any help??
also I am not losing any air. It is still at the normal height.

Best to have someone pull codes using Xentry (MB diagnostics) for definitive diagnose, check PM. Reluctant to do so, check condition/connections of acceleration sensors first if you want part #s provide VIN.

Don't know how much good scanner can help you, but I worked on the system, on my previous car the hard way.
Just be beware that compressor shutting off can be result of leaks, or water accumulation in dryer.
Either way, you need to see the system pressure. Having no adequate scanner, I added T with pressure gauge.

I forgot to mention that when the malfunction first came on I parked my car and there was a loud clicking noise coming from the rear. Seemed to be from the right side.
