Fix E350 Glove Lock That Fell Out?
2011 E350 4MATIC
Both the round metal lock and black plastic latch/lever that holds it on the glove box fell out one day.
When I put the lock and latch/lever back into its place, I can open the glove box and also close it and lock it.
But the lock and lever still fall out sometimes. I think the lever broke at the hinge where it is usually held by a metal rod/pin, like those found on wrist watch bands.
How can I repair this? Do I need to remove the lining of the glove box from inside to access the lock and lever and replace the entire mechanism?
