2016 ac unit control
will the ac unit control from a 2014 be compatible in a 2016 e350 or will the part numbers be completely different?

MY'14 W212 M276 3.5NA @60kMi
help .... VIN
Do you have the VIN's involved ?
FYI: the MY'14 AAC modules are positively known to be built with unsoldered connections... '16 likely as well.
What sort of DTC's is that AAC up to?

The HVAC control panel for my wife's 2016 E350 4Matic wagon is A2129006727, and is for Code: 494+(805/806/807), described as...
494 US version
805 nappa leather mocha brown / almond beige
806 Model year 2016
807 YoM 16/1her car has the 'Elegance' brown interior, rather than the more common 'avante garde' cold black/grey interior.

im assuming thats located in front of the control module. im missing a grey insert on my left side of the module. ive seen them go for 100$ and would rather replace it and guarantee the car gets out of the garage. im using my e class as a down payment on a 2022 Tesla.
I can understand a HVAC CU costing $100, since it requires flashware (firmware) programming and option coding to match your vehicle, thats $$$$ at a dealer as very few independent garages can handle firmware or coding.
if you want to post your VIN, I can look up the correct PN for your HVAC control unit tomorrow.
