I,m IN! New-to-me E350 CDI 4Matic

Thank you to the folks who took time to answer my questions over the past couple of months. I was researching S's, R's, ML's and E's.
Yesterday I bought a 2011 (released 12/2010) E350 CDI 4Matic in Iridium Silver with grey leather including Dynamic seats. It has 167,xxx kms, all service records, bought new and traded in to the same Mercedes dealer, bought by an employee there and now it is mine.
It is very loaded as shown on two Data Cards - one from konigstiger and the other from lastvin. I'll tell you, it's going to take me a month to figure out how everything works on this car! It is smooth and strong. The transmission is the 7G-tronic+ and has not had a single hard shift up or down or slow or anything. Pure bliss. It is the 195 kw engine and I could not imagine wanting more torque (600+ nm). It showed 7.5 l/100 kms after an unknown number of city kms and the 400+ drive home with a lot of that at 140 km/h. It is a JOY to drive.
It is 12 years old, though, and has a couple of marks (a rock chip, a parking lot door ding and a scratch "circle" on the lower rear bumper, probably from a small impact). The passenger seat's left side bolster seems to "pop" out of place as the bladder inflates in dynamic mode immediately returning to it's resting position. The rest of the dynamic functions on both seats are perfect. Finally, the right rear air bag apparently leaks enough for that corner to sag after being parked for 3 weeks. That'll be a job for the future.
I'll probably have a few questions along the way. Thanks again everyone.
Cheers,
Genn

Don't let those leaks linger if you have airmatic. Either the lines or a fitting are leaking and eventually you end up burning out the pump which gets more expensive to fix. Usually only E550's had the airmatic so it's an interesting mix of options you have in a different country.

It's already had the EGR valve cleaned or replaced - seller said replaced and all service was at the dealer I bought it from. So, of expected jobs to do that leaves the airmatic airbags and the oil cooler seals. Those are not leaking, yet.
I'm in Slovakia and she was built for the Slovak market. That said, I'm sure it's the same as for the German or Czech market or even central/south Europe. We do see imports from Italy here pretty often, too. And Switzerland.
The pressing issue at the moment is getting the car and my phone to cooperate with each other. That's becoming a struggle.
All in all, I'm bloody well over the moon happy with her.
Cheers,
Glenn

Also for early 2010-2011 models, there was a bluetooth firmware update that fixed issues with bluetooth so the dealer would have to do that if it wasn't done, at least that was the issue in the US.

Good tip for the BT firmware. I've downloaded an English Owner's Manual and Comand manual (although for 2012 USA/Canada). If I start to see discrepancies I'll contact MB to see if there are downloadable manuals in English for 2011 cars in Europe. Seems like their website starts at the 2012 model year now.
Looking through it now it looks like the best option is to delete all the authorized phones from it, mine included, and start over by the book. Fingers crossed.

If I can get the phone working today that'll be another victory!

When in Poland almost every blacksmith has MB-oriented scanner, owners in America often have to drive hundreds of miles to find qualified mechanic.
Anyway, sounds like you might have different software on your car phone. Mine is using contact list from the phone, but I do have frequent issue with phone not connecting to car automatically.
Enjoy new drive.

I did import my contacts from my phone into the car (COMAND). Strange thing - today I had my BT turned off on my phone to save battery life. When I was in the car with it running I turned the BT on again on my phone. It connected to the car and I made a call! We will see. Maybe the firmware needs updating at the dealer or something.

Glenn
