Pre-safe right side malfunction
2016 E-400 Cab.........Moved my passenger seat forward and there was an empty water bottle under the seat... it apparently unplugged this yellow wire connector. I found it after this message came up on the dash screen. I have plugged it back in and yet the message doesn't go away. Is there a reset that has to be done? Is there an auto reset after a period of time? Can anyone help ?

It happened to me once, and it went away after reconnecting. Have you taken the car for a ride? It make take a drive cycle to erase on its own.

Update: I took the car to my local MB guy and he scanned it. Said it should go away, but let me check under the seat again. Long story short..... he found another connector that was disconnected, plugged it in and all is good to go..... No more messages on the dash..
