E550
I’m looking to buy a 2014 e550 coupe it’s in great condition 2 owners clean title at 68k miles, is it reliable or will I be throwing money towards repairs? Stuck between a 2014 e550 or a 2014 e350

The M278 in that car is a great motor! The E350 will be a little bit more reliable but the E550 will be way more fun

Google is your friend.
Are you good with a wrench?
Given the choice, with all else being equal, and having the ability to pay for fuel... I'd jump on the 550.

E550 for sure. Way too much fun. Quiet and sedate while basic driving and only moderately loud under WOT. I’m at 140,000 and only major repair is a propeller shaft ($1,600).
My MPG is 23.8 for the last 40,000 miles per Fuelly. And mine’s chipped.

Definitely the 550
I've had a CLK350 then a CLK550 that was way more fun than the 350
and now a 2014 E550 that is incredibly more fun and exciting than the previous 2.
all were Cabriolets too
I think I think if i were you I would be afraid I would constantly wonder what I was missing if I got a 350.
good luck in deciding

You made the right choice , neither V6 nor V8 engines' are paramount concern is the fuel economy but as a bonus today's bi turbo V8 engines consume less over decades ago ancestors

I have had my ‘14 E550 4Matic for 50k miles, tuned by Slav, WMI, all the normal airbox and DP stuff.
I have NEVER loved a car so much or had so much fun.
There are so few of them around!
Enjoy!!!
