I just joined to see if I could get some help identifying some parts I need (since I am doing a miserable job on my own).
I have a 2010 E350 4MATIC (it is actually my fathers). The front driveshaft gave out and made a bit of a mess. The u-joint completely failed (it was making a squeaking sound, so I told my dad to drive it to the mechanic and it didn't make it) and did a number on the catalytic converter and the heat shields.
I've found what I needed so far with the exception of the exhaust clamps that connect the left and right catalytic converter pipes to the muffler (the other side is the exhaust manifold) and the sealing ring for the right side pipe.
On the parts diagram (attached), the clamps (picture attached) are for #4 and #5 connecting to #11. The gasket is between #4 and #11.
I had to cut off the clamps with my cutoff wheel they were rusted so badly.
I talked to AutohausAZ and they confirmed the (wrong) clamps (000-995-46-02) and the (wrong) gasket (202-492-02-81), but they didn't have them all in stock, so I went to M-B and ordered there as they had all the parts. Also, there was no picture of the exhaust clamp and it was really expensive, so I wasn't feeling real confident.
I've gone back to M-B about their return policy, but thought it a good idea to put the question out on this forum.
Does anyone know the part numbers of the clamps and gasket?
The pipe that needs the gasket is 55mm OD.
