I have 2 oil leaks, one under the car second

from the front of the engine.

1st under the car appears to be dripping from the rear crank shaft.

2nd front of the engine, took it to a few machanics all said they don't know where the front leak is from.
Any ideas ?

Any recommendations for an indi in the cheshire area ?
Hate this as the car drives like a dream, no warning lights on dash. Just large drops of oil on my drive.

Automatic transmission oil cooler is in the front of the motor, can you determin wether it is engine oil or transmission oil that is dripping ?
I have just replaced the seals on the oil filter housing and engine oil cooler myself, could it be the same on your engine ? its difficult to see since it it buried in there.., maybe with a borocope camera ?

Great Idea with the Boroscope, ill have a look on amazon for one Jobba, I have been told its more oil than usual for the filter housing or oil cooler. To be fair the mechanics I went to really did t seem to know. I did see one merc indi mechanic who just told me to sell it after looking at it for 20 mins needs the engine out to know what the issue is in his opinion , nightmare.

Is this the leak? I think i have a similar problem. Mine is 200K KMs 2013 w212 e300
