replacing the sports seats from my w212 e250 amg package

hey there
i just got couple of days ago an w212 e250 cdi with amg sport package exterior and interior .
and i hate the seats . they are mega unconfortable and rock hard
i have the seats in the first photo and want to get like in the second photo. , looks more confortable and wide fit ? or i mistake and they are the exact same seats ? but for me the second ones looks the standard seats and not sporty

correct me if i m wrong plz . so i know if i will buy them ..
thanks a lot

The top seats are not OEM... If the pattern in your rear seats match the pattern in your proposed (bottom pic), then the fronts are recovers on the existing frame of the original MB-Tex seats..

The bottom seats shown are MB-Tex seats (imitation leather), and are ones known to split at seams, hence the reason for the recovered fronts.

I wouldn't trade the replacements for the originals as they use the same frame. If you don't like how the current seats feel, the MB-Tex substitutes won't feel any better.

I like my MB-Tex seats, but some do not.

The first picture in post #1 and the last picture in post #5 are not the same seats (seams in one, not in the other). Yet you claim these are the seats you received when you bought the car.

Best I can tell, ALL of these seats are on the same, standard E-Class seat frames. Most car enthusiasts would give their left ******** for any seat with useful side bolsters. If the bolsters are not wide enough for you, trade in the E-Class for an ML-Class SUV... This time, sit in the seats for 10-15 minutes before you buy the vehicle.
