headlight flickering
2014 mb e350 fl headlight flickering. its only the driver side and noticed it flicker randomly while driving the other day, I also noticed it flickered on startup and took a second to turn on. whenever I turn my lights off with the switch the driver side stays on for 1-2 seconds, flickers, then shuts off. anyone have any idea what the cause of this could be? has no effect on the highbeams or the static LEDs.
thanks!

2-- the poor GND connection is acting up or
3-- both in combination.

do you think its possible to repair / reseal the headlight or will a new headlight be in order?

They're not built to be serviceable unfortunately, just a single unit. Doesn't mean it's not possible, but would probably be difficult to get it working again.

Xentry territory
any idea how I could run some tests or replace the LED built-in module, the headlight itself is cracked and their is a fracture on the backside of the headlight housing. the headlight is also mis-aligned a bit but haven't found any good videos on how to take out the entirety of the headlight module as well as realign it and seal it.

It requires Xentry to pair HL modules in a master/slave relationship.
The HL electronic is sensitive to moisture so spending your time on an unbroken unit is your guarantee for success.
There a chance you maybe able to mix and match parts from new/old unit...

I was going to say a faulty ground would be the main culprit but since you mention cracks and fractures, I'll move my bet to moisture damage. If that's the case, a repair attempt will likely be an exercise in futility.
Do you have the standard LED low/halogen high beam lights, or the full LED ILS headlights?
(if you have the standard headlights, I have a pair in mint condition with modules that I removed at 15K miles - pm me if you're interested).
