There is always a possibility of engine having "problem" internally.
I guess I’m just in disbelief as I’ve never experienced any issues ever with this car. Never had a stat issue or any issue at all with it rubbing smoothly. Now when I let it sit for a few months, this occurs. Just hard to swallow that there could be motor failure/internal damage without anything specific in the recent past causing it. I guess I disregarded that part of your previous message because I never imagined there was any internal damage. The motor has 160k on it 😢
Check engine oil level, see if oil mix with fuel or coolant and is above MAX line? Here I am assuming ur engine oil has always been proper MAX level to begin with.
Hand spin the engine via the main crankshaft pulley too, feel how heavy it is ?
