That is the E 450 though, if you drive the E 350, it is still a four cylinder but I think you already know that, it is smoother engine than the previous four cylinder, maybe not as loud but you can still obviously tell it is a four cylinder.

The 48V mild hybrid is a nightmare yes that is correct, it took Mercedes a few years but I think they are almost there to get it perfected.

Forgot to mention but I am pretty sure you already know, the M256 in the E 53 has a turbo charger and a super charger and also that 48V mild hybrid system. The M256 in the E 450 has "only" the turbo charger and 48V mild hybrid system.

I have sit a few W213s and none of them showed signs of diminishing quality spots at all .I must admit, I was impressed by their interiors because it reminded me of W222s as well. Overall, I prefer W212 styling , if W213s had been successor to W211s (hence it would get a different name lol ) I would not place any bad comments for exterior design wise
