I was planning to finally put in my sub box yesterday in my 2011 E350, got my signal for my LC2 powered line converter from the green and brown/green wires going into the fan cooled assembly on the rear deck, but when I looked I found I don't have an AUX battery in the trunk so I don't have an easy power tap. I see I have a fuse panel on the passenger side, but don't see an accessible place to tap in without causing myself issues. Any ideas? Is a long wire from the front under the car and up through the trunk my best option here? I have put this box in a couple slightly older E classes so I thought I knew what I was going to find under the trunk liner.
When my lifted W212 has battery in trunk, it also has small fuse box there and power plug there.
Plenty of power pick up spots in mine.
If you have none of the above, check loose plugs there. I had it on older sedans, who had extra wires for options I did not have and I could tap trailer power to them.
