OEM Backup Camera Replacement Inquiry
Hi!
I need to replace my backup camera due to a cracked and water-damaged lens. I've found a guide on how to physically replace the reverse camera, but if I replace it with another OEM camera is it just plug-and-play or is there any sort of programming required? If there is programming required, would I only be able to get this sorted at the dealership? How much should it cost to get this entire process done professionally anyways?
Thanks

Even these rear cameras use different hardware based on years... integrated voltage control module or external...
As far as costing likely between $500 to $1k.
Combine that with other maintenance (brakes, tranny, oil,...) to get a nice deal.
