Hi. My concern is about Mercedes Benz E300 W212 sedan
I am having issue with my panoramic roof. The curtain close but does not opens nor do the sunroof tilt or opens.
* Panoramic roof needed greasing service but couldn’t reach that in time. Could be the reason or could it be something else.

 

In MB models, the sunroof has a safe mode where it disconnects and it stops working. Usually, it needs to be reset either via scanner or by just removing the fuse for a minute.

Check fuse 17 in the front fuse box next to the engine

If it starts working, please do the required maintenance or it will stop working again, or it will get worse, $$$

 

I have tried to remove the fuse 17 in the engine bay and plugged in again no results. Even the fuse wasn’t damaged.
